Why this one has no limits

Tools that build your PDF on a server have to pay for every megabyte you send them, which is why they cap the number of images, cap the file size, put you in a queue, or ask you to subscribe. This one assembles the PDF inside your browser, so none of those costs exist and none of those limits do either.

It also means the photos are never handed to anyone. That matters more than it sounds for this particular tool: the documents people most often need as a PDF are ID scans, contracts, receipts and medical paperwork.

Page order, and how to change it

Images are added in the order you pick them, and the list under the drop zone shows that order with the page number each one will get. Use the arrows to move any image up or down, or remove it — the PDF rebuilds immediately, so what you see is what you will get.

Photo rotation is handled

Phone cameras usually store a photo the way the sensor read it and add a tag saying how far to turn it. A PDF has no such tag, so a portrait photo dropped straight in would appear on its side. This tool reads that tag and rotates the actual pixels before adding the page, which is why portrait photos come out upright.

Where no rotation is needed, the original file is embedded byte for byte with no re-encoding, so an upright JPG or a PNG keeps exactly the quality it started with. PNG transparency is preserved.

How to use it

  3. Choose a page size: fit-to-image for no white borders, or A4 / Letter for printing.

Usable on a work computer

Plenty of workplaces block file uploads to outside websites, to keep contracts and customer records from leaving the building. On those machines the usual online converters simply fail.

This one has no upload to block. Whether your organisation permits a particular site is still its own call, so check with your IT team if you handle regulated material.

Why this is built this way

Files that pass through someone else's server can be logged, cached, retained after the promised deletion window, or exposed in a breach. Contracts, ID scans, medical records and private photos are exactly the files people most often have to convert, and exactly the ones that should not be handed to a stranger's machine.

It is also why there is no file size limit, no daily quota, and no account. Those restrictions exist to control server costs. With no server in the loop, there is nothing to ration.

Questions

Are my images uploaded anywhere?

No. The PDF is assembled in your browser and the files never leave your device. You can confirm it in the Network tab of your browser's developer tools, or by turning off your Wi-Fi after the first use and building another PDF.

How many images can I combine?

There is no set limit. Because nothing is uploaded there is no quota to enforce; the practical ceiling is your device's memory, which is a long way past a typical document.

Does it accept iPhone HEIC photos?

Yes. HEIC files are decoded in the browser and added like any other image. The decoder is only downloaded if a HEIC is actually among your files, so making a PDF from screenshots stays fast.

Will my portrait photos come out sideways?

No. The EXIF rotation tag is read and applied to the pixels before the page is added, because a PDF has no way to carry that tag itself.

What is the difference between fit-to-image and A4?

Fit-to-image gives each page the same shape as its photo, so there are no white borders — good for viewing on screen. A4 and Letter give every page a standard printable size and centre the image inside the margin you choose.

Does it reduce quality?

Upright JPGs and PNGs are embedded unchanged, with no re-encoding at all. Only images that need rotating, or that are in a format PDF cannot carry directly such as WebP, are re-encoded at the quality you select.
