Etsy Fee Calculator for US Sellers
Uses Etsy's US fee rules and separates sales tax from seller revenue.
How it is calculated
For US sellers, Etsy charges a $0.20 listing fee and a 6.5% transaction fee on item price plus shipping. Etsy Payments is 3% + $0.25 on the order total including tax. Offsite Ads, when attributed, are 12% or 15% of item price plus shipping and exclude US sales tax.
Profit = item price + shipping charged − product cost − shipping cost − Etsy fees

A $40 item with $5 shipping, $3.60 sales tax, $12 product cost, $5 shipping cost, and no Offsite Ad produces an estimated profit after standard Etsy fees.
